Your Entrepreneur Success Story

Welcome to Escapee 925. We have been profiling entrepreneur success stories for almost 10 years now. There are a lot of rock stars out there like John Lee Dumas, Amy Porterfield, Chris Ducker, Marie Forlio and Pat Flynn that have set the bar high. While it is great if you can succeed on that level, not everyone is going to escape the corporate world and create a 7 to 10 figure a year business. Most just recreate their corporate income. If you have escaped from the 9 to 5 congratulations! We would like to hear your entrepreneur success story. And if you are still looking, we hope you find some inspiration in the stories on this site. Periodically we will be reviewing stories to see who is worthy to wear an Escapee 925 Tee Shirt.

Don’t Be Shy

If you are still working on your escape, that’s ok too.  Escaping the 9 to 5 means different things to different people.  Not everyone we feature has escaped the 9 to 5 the same way.  Some are still working a side hustle but moving towards independence.  We would love to feature your story as well.  We would like to hear your escape the 9 to 5 story. Your escape may be completed, in progress, or contemplated. In 2 – 3 paragraphs please describe what you did before, what you are doing now, and why you are doing it.
Feel free to include plugs about your business, URL, twitter, links, etc. This is shameless self promotion time.

All postings may be used on this site, in future audio/video podcasts, ebooks, or print books. If we use your story beyond the web site, we will check with you first in case you are now a multi-millionaire and no longer want the attention.

If you are doing something that wouldn’t go over well with a PG rated audience, we probably won’t use your input, so you may want to save yourself some typing if you fall into this category.

Promoting Your Entrepreneur Success

How much does this cost you ask? Zilch, nada, zero. If you have a good story, we would love to help you share it. All you need to do is fill out our questionaire and send us a photo. We do the rest from the information you provide. We will even do a quick web audit of your business and provide some free feedback. It’s that simple.

    Rob,

Have you ever wished that you knew what you now know when you were in high school? I have an Author of a non-fiction self-development business book who would like to submit a guest post on your site Escapee 925.

I feel this soon to be released book will reach out to your audience – especially young teens, parents, future entrepreneurs, and business owners who are looking for practical strategies on how to succeed in their chosen career.

The book is called Out of the Classroom Lessons in Success: How to Prosper Without Being at the Top of the Class. It connects with the audience by providing practical advice to teens and parents on how to be successful in their chosen life’s work, and what young adults need to know and learn to be successful. And this isn’t what they were taught in the classroom.

It has been more than a hundred years since Horace Mann wrote the words, “Education…beyond all other devices of human origin, is a great equalizer of conditions of men”. When Horace wrote those words, being educated set a person apart from the masses. Today, everyone is provided with K-12 education and education alone is not enough for success. The reason is success requires much more than what is taught in school.

Each child has the ability to make their own success. Filled with colorful illustrations, this invaluable guide helps you discover:

    Does practice really make perfect?
Do good things come to those who wait?
    Does winning actually matter?
How the average student can be highly successful.
How the game changes after the diploma.

Inspired by her experiences with her own daughters in school and her work with start-up companies and entrepreneurs, Cynthia Kocialski realized that many young adults graduate completely unaware of a new playing field that no one has bothered to tell them about – and that is not always predicated by superior grades or talents.

Cynthia is the founder of three tech companies. In the past 15 years, I have been involved in dozens of start-ups and have served on various advisory boards. These companies have collectively returned billions of dollars to investors. I have held various technical, marketing, and management positions at IBM and Matrox Electronics. She has an engineering and mathematics degrees from the University of Rochester and the University of Virginia.

Cynthia Kocialski is having a virtual book tour during the month of Jan/February 2012. How much lead time would you need? I would like to send you her media kit.

    Best Regards!
