Is your website not really working for you anymore? Would you like to know why? After 20 years of building websites, we typically don’t build new sites. We just fix old ones. If you would like a free analysis of your website, just send us an email with the URL and we will take a look.

I don’t recommend a lot of online resources but there are some that stand the test of time coming out with consistent content and creating value. I tend to shy away from the various product launches that promise you thousands of dollars of values for only $497. These resources are some of my favorites. (And yes some of these are affiliate links. It’s not a requirement to be listed here, but for the products I feel comfortable about, I’m going to take advantage of them if they are available.)

48 Days and Dan Miller

48 Days Eagle Group – This is an online forum from Dan Miller who wrote the classic book – 48 Days to the Work You Love (I have 2 copies). I have been a member of this group since it was founded. It’s gone through various incarnations but the current version has a private members group site with a message board and weekly events that are recorded if you can’t attend. It is a great source for ideas and simply dealing with the issues of running a business on your own. At the time of this writing the group was as you might guess, $48 per month although there is a current promotion of 3 months for $48 to start.

Dan has several resources to check out to see if the group is for you:

http://helpmybusiness.com – Andrew Lock has had a video podcast for years.  He has unique insights into marketing and provides tips and tricks that are useful for novice through experts.

Fiverr – This has grown into a great marketplace for anything you might want to outsource such as SEO, article writing, image editing, videos, etc.

Fancy Hands – This is one of my favorite outsourcing tools since it leverages multiple workers and you can have them do multiple things at a flat rate.  Obviously there is a time limit, but it’s a great way to start leveraging a virtual assistant where you don’t need someone full time.
