In the summer of 2009 Lisa Cratty made a big change in her life. She was living in L.A., caught up in the hustle and bustle of the corporate world. She worked for an international law firm and managed their I.T. and Accounting departments. Lisa had a staff of seven people and a lot of responsibility and a nice paycheck, but she was not happy. “I had worked my way up in the world of IT for 15 years,  I finally said ENOUGH! I want to do something that means something to me and the rest of the world. I want more time with my kids. I want to have fun”.

Lisa and her husband (who was also unhappy in his job) decided they were going to quit their jobs, pack up and move out! So that’s what they did, after two years of planning and saving their pennies they turned in their notices, packed up the car with their two kids and two cats and drove to Louisville, Colorado.

Go for Launch

Lisa launched her company, Teagan and Mack, in July of 2010. Teagan and Mack is an eco-friendly baby clothing line. Lisa designed all the products and is now enjoying running my business from home, spending more time with the kids and loving life! It’s not without it’s challenges, of course, but what an incredible journey it’s been so far. “At Teagan and Mack we have taken special care to ensure that our clothing is made from ultra soft 100% certified organic cotton, that all our dyes are eco-friendly and that our craftsmanship is of the highest quality”.

Lisa has tried to inject a social responsibility element in the business at well by supported women in war torn countries for several years (i.e. Afganistan, Iraq, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Bosnia) and through the Teagan and Mack Sisterhood Program  to support women in extreme poverty that need support. “Teagan and Mack believes that supporting our global economy will also help strengthen our local economy. We pride ourselves on being a socially responsible company and are always looking for ways to make a contribution”.
